About the Project

KA210-VET - Small-scale partnerships in vocational education and training

KNOW4FRAM project aims to improve agriculture using PA Techniques and introducing technology to agriculture as a sustainable option. The project will facilitate the monitoring of agricultural practices and strengthen the fight against climate change in the field of VET by supporting the green and digital transition. We also aim to train a large number of VET trainers primarily in order to reach out to rural and agricultural regions through informative digital handbooks, interactive webinars, workshops and field visits. 

We targeted three outputs during these 15 months. A digital handbook, interactive webinars and hands-on learning based field visits and workshops in Greece.

Our direct target group will be: Agricultural and Environmental Staff Members and VET Trainers and Educators who need professional growth to answer new challenges. 

Indirect target group will be:Counselors and Local Municipalities relevant Agriculture and Environment which are supporting VET institutions.

OBJECTIVES

Advancing Digitalization in Agricultural Vocational Education and Training (VET)

KNOW4FARM is a VET program that will offer sustainable approaches in agriculture. It aims to combat climate change, to increase VET skills and resilience to developing technologies. To accelerate the diffusion of digitization, the project also provides the EU Agriculture and Technology Market with a comprehensive solution that will take steps to address the shortage of skilled workers through hands-on activities. KNOW4FARM’s objectives are;

Optimizing Agri VET Alignment

Ensuring that agricultural VET is aligned with the specific needs of the agricultural sector and integrates digital tools and applications into agricultural VET.

Digital Skills Development Initiative

Developing the digital skills of 45 VETs through handbooks and interactive webinars to raise awareness and gain theoretical knowledge.

Cross-Border VET Collaboration for Skill Enhancement

Developing joint short-term VET activities such as field visits and workshops to exchange best practices for technical skills acquisition and fill the skilled worker gap (15 participants per country).

Advancing EU Digitalization Agenda

Supporting the EU's plans, strategies and policies to take measurable measures to accelerate digitalization, adopting innovative technologies.

Rural Empowerment: PA Technologies Training for VET Educators

Networking with agricultural municipalities, representatives and stakeholders to provide professional training on PA technologies to 45 VET educators to support the improvement of quality of life and economic stability in rural areas to reduce migration.
